I believe this company needs no introduction, but just to say a few words, Intel Corporation is a leading global technology company renowned for its innovation in designing and manufacturing semiconductors, especially processors that power a vast range of devices, from personal computers to data centers.

Beyond hardware, Intel is heavily involved in areas like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and autonomous systems, continuously shaping the future of technology with its advancements in computing and connectivity. With a long-standing legacy of driving innovation, Intel remains a cornerstone in the tech industry, empowering both businesses and consumers worldwide.

I began working at Intel Corporation in mid-2013, initially as a consultant, but I soon transitioned into a full-time Intel employee. My early role was as a QA engineer within the Android department, where I honed my skills in testing and quality assurance. Shortly after, I moved into an automation engineering role for the Yocto Project, a Linux-based project focused on embedded systems.

During my time working on the Yocto Project, I was proud to be recognized as one of the top 10 contributors to the OpenEmbedded project in 2015. This role allowed me to deepen my knowledge in Python, Linux and CI systems, which became foundational to my later work.

Around this time I also acquired an LPI certification (Linux Professional Institute).

One of the most exciting aspects of my time at Intel was the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and experimental devices. I regularly interacted with early development CPUs and small form factor computers, such as the Raspberry Pi, MinnowBoard, WindRiver, and of course, Intel’s own NUC. These experiences not only shaped my technical skills but also fueled my passion for discovery and the thrill of working on something at the cutting edge of innovation.
